Sisterhood

From year to year, Phi Mu's at Spring Hill College carry the tradition of being active on campus, in good standing scholastically, and promoting the bond of sisterhood. Phi Mu offers social, academic, and spiritual challenges for the women of the sorority, so that they may uphold its traditions and values. This well-rounded group of women contributes to an organization that places utmost importance on service, scholarship, and sisterhood.

We have a chapter meeting each week, where we discuss upcoming events and important announcements.  We also have weekly Chapter Developments, such as Breast Cancer Awareness, Self Defense, and Common Sense "How-To's."  Chapter is also a chance for Sisterhood Development to facilitate fun games, building strong bonds, and deepening our sense of sisterhood!

Once a semester, our chapter takes a Sisterhood Retreat.  Last fall, we went to an outdoor concert hosted by Spring Hill College, participated in an affirmation exercise, and a sisterhood bonding exercise. Following this, we went to a Paint Pals location and painted canvases, inspired by Phi Mu. In addition to our Sisterhood Retreat, our sisterhood chairman plans monthly sisterhood events for our chapter and occasional pledge-class sisterhood events.

Joining Phi Mu means gaining over 75 new sisters. Through our sisterhood, the ladies of Theta Delta are able to learn more about each other, but most importantly, more about themselves.  They are not only supportive though the difficult times, they are also around to celebrate the accomplishments.
